Primeval was a British sci-fi drama that followed a team of scientists investigating time portals that were appearing around the country through which prehistoric (and sometimes futuristic) animals were coming through. A spin-off was later created, called Primeval: New World, created and set in Canada with a new cast.
Five series of Primeval were created, between 2007 and 2011, with 36 episodes. One series of Primeval: New World was created, with 13 episodes.
