The game it's self is brilliant from the music to the action.The musical scores in the game are very different from other Halo titles but different in a good way & the action is different in that you have to be a bit more careful as you are an ODST & not a spartan.
Also the added detective story of trying to find out what happened to the girl who is looking for her father while being helped by the city's A.I is also good fun.

Although i loved halo 3 i think that this one is a bit more serious & the storyline for me was very dark (literallly) & very slow, Wasn't as much fun to play as Halo 3

That's what makes this game so much more fun & different, I loved it, alright at the start I've played it for about 15 minutes, dropped the controller & just went off to do my own thing, I revisited the game a week or so later to find myself strangely addicted & start playing the game.
Ok it may not be THE best game I have ever played & it was in some bits repetetive, but the way that it was tied in was just amazing, the whole concept was genuine & enticing for me, it was more of a movie that I could control, ofcourse this could have marmite effect - You either like it or not, I hope you like it.
The weaponary is back to basics, the magnum is pretty powerful if aiming for the head, so is the silenced SMG, the rest of the weaponary basicallly resembles that of Halo 3 - Rocket launchers, Spartan Lasers, turrets detatchment etc etc. The stamina & health idea is epic & adds that little bit of realism to it.
Beware though - It is not as long as I have thought it would be, about 5 hours of gameplay alll in alll, as many have said it should have been an add on instead of the full disk, the least you could do is give it a chance & rent the game, you'd either like it or not, I know I did.
