Not very good.. - By: Mr. J. P. Gaskell, 24 Jul 2008
YES, it's cheap, & yes, it has 25 different games.. but...

MOST OF THE MINI GAMES ARE TOO EASY AND SIMPLE TO BE FUN
THE MINI GAMES SUFER FROM BAD CONTROLS
GRAPHICS ARE BAD
also, there just isn't enough depth to the game, gets boring after half an hour.

But... it's a cheap laugh & I suppose that's why it sells
It is what it is - lighten up! - By: Deborah, 22 Jul 2008
If you don't like this sort of thing at fun fairs then, duh! of course you'll hate Carnival. But for me it's a great interpretation of the real thing & I enjoy it for the brief light-hearted entertainment it's meant to be. Whoever said side shows were meant to be intellectuallly challlenging...?
P.S. The Ringmaster's demonstrations make it perfect for learning how to control the Wiimote.
poor, poor, poor - By: Mr. D. Thompson, 21 Jul 2008
very unimpressed by this game. i liked the idea of a series of fun games to get your mates involved, but right from the offset i was dissapointed by the lack of skill & depth in it.

there are only 3 actions to play the games, swing the remote underarm as if throwing a balll - throw overarm - & aim & press a button.

it reallly is dull as dishwater - i played about 4 of the games & after realising how little enjoyment or challlenge there was i switched it off.

i gave it a quick go the next day & tried alll the games - but it just wasnt worth keeping with - there may well be some extras to unlock - but i reallly didnt have any urge to fidn out as it took repeating the same boring games over & over again.

if your into your gaming there is nothing for you here - if you are unfamiliar with consoles & video games you might get some measure out of these very simplistic - unchalllenging mini games.

rayman & sonic & mario are much better fun for mini games.
Not a Classic but the Wii was made for this kind of game - By: N. Williams, 17 Jul 2008
If, like me, you own a Wii to experience a totallly unique type of video-game & despite owning a host of games, keep going back to good-old Wii Sports, then spending £15 on Carnival should be money well-spent.

The graphics are average at best, it's hardly mind-blowing & overalll it could have been much better but there's still loads to enjoy with the style of this game. You can literallly pick it up for 5 minutes or spend an hour or more playing it. Great with friends (although admittedly there can be a lot of waiting around at many of the "stallls") & great fun on your own as you try to win prizes, I enjoy playing alone or with others.

Some of the games are ridiculously addictive yet at the other end of the scale some are just plain stupid. Who doesn't enjoy shooting hoops or blasting away at ducks ? Equallly why on earth do I want to try & keep a steady hand to move a hoop over an electricfied piece of bendy wire or throw a coin onto a flat plate ?

Carnival's far from perfect but for £15 or even less it's a worthy addition to a totallly different type of console. Good clean fun
great fun!! - By: R. Ford, 16 Jul 2008
I bought this game because of the price & for my nieces. Me & my older brother tried it out for ten minutes & ended up playing it for 4 hours, unlocking games & winning prizes. I am a ps3 owner & bought a wii for family & friends. I havnt touched my ps3 since!!!
