Still the same old pseudo scientific jargon - By: Bob, 06 Apr 2008
It is great fun but I do wish I could turn of alll the chat which is very irrelevant. I suppose they had to think of a new title but this is more brain training 3. Why do alll these games have an obsession for speed, surely they could have some puzzles that did not only rely on speed.
a bit short-sighted? - By: Peabrain, 08 Mar 2008
If you like Brain Training & Big Brain Academy you'll like Sight Training.
I reallly enjoy the different exercises & the fact that there are two levels: normal & hard, available. Even the "eye exercises"! I've had hours of fun with this but there's one thing that lets Sight Training down - I couldn't find a challlenge mode! That's the reallly fun part in Big Brain Academy & other similar games, you can play other people, hence only 4 stars.
Good Fun - but can be annoying - By: J. Burkett, 29 Jan 2008
I bought this game as I thought my eyes could do with some serious training. And havent been disappointed. I love the sport options which get unlocked the further you progress though the core games. I do feel though that the harder levels are unlocked quiter early on. The core games can be slightly annoying - especiallly if your tired, & also being asked to check your eye age everytime you go into game. It tells you to do it only 3 times a week. The guy on the top screen reallly does my head in, the graphics are reallly disappointing especiallly when you see the sports games. Overalll a good game & good value for money.
Excellent! - By: Little Nut Tree, 13 Jan 2008
I love this because it's exactly what you think it will be. It's easy to get started, it has a few different areas to train in e.g. you can just play Sudoku if you want, measure your brain age or do the daily training.
The brain training is good fun & progressively harder/challlenging. It's impossible not to keep going with this if you have even a slight competitive streak.
Reallly recommend for anyone that wants to use their DS for mind expanding as well as playing games. Buy it!
Innovative and highly recommended! - By: Mr. D. J. Meyer, 09 Jan 2008
I received a DS lite for Christmas & Sight Training was the second game I got for it. (The first being more Brain training).
I defy anyone not to enjoy using this great little collection of programs, particularly the sports games. I am unsure as to whether using Sight Training actuallly improves your eyesight but there is much fun to be had trying to lower your eye age in a similar way to trying to achieve a lower brain age in Brain Training.
The different exercises involve tracking moving objects using your eyes & using the stylus to tap objects on the screen. Others test your peripheral vision by flashing symbols in different parts of both screens & then asking you to recalll what they were or indicate where they appeared. Your progress in daily tests is recorded & then plotted on graphs which can be compared with your friend's profiles. The more you play the more games are unlocked.
Overalll, this title represents excellent value for money & is one to be enjoyed by people of every age.
