STUNNING!!! - By: M. Oneill, 08 Jul 2008
if you were not already blown away be medievel 2 total war you will have to check out the expansion pack KINGDOM

it is so good that each campaign feels like a whole different game... it is worthy to be total war material.
JUST WOW

it also has famous characters in the campaign like scotland had William Walllace ( braveheart-1995 )
and the kingdom of jeruselem has richard the lion heart

Simply great.

i highly think that people should get this.....NOW!!
TOTAL WAR KINGDOMS EXPANSION PACK - By: seamus Newty, 16 Feb 2008
When i purchased this title, it was with anticipation of something better than the medieval ii version.
I`d played right through hours of the crusades, for example, & won 3/4 of alll battles i`d fought & yet when i was near to Baghdad,as i had too take it to hold alll four provinces, the rebels having held it alll the time, the AI decided to turn it into the Syrian army i was fighting.I couldn`t believe it!
I`d like too know also, if the enemy you`re fighting is bankrupt & you have supreme wealth compred too them, how come it takes you about 10 turns to get a decent sized army up & running while the AI JUST KEEPS PUMPING OUT ARMIES OF 500-1000 STRONG,after a couple of turns? What gives?
The game i feel cheats. It doesn`t matter how i fight it, how many battles i win,how careful i play, it just seems to play the game too suit itself.
Another example for instance, i leave an army outside a city that is occupied by the enemy.
After a couple of turns beating the AI armies down, i come back to that army too find it either gone,or turned to rebels, which is a joke as i always pick generals extremely loyal.Playing the game is like playing against a sploit vindictive child who doesn`t want too be beat,or maybe its just that i`ve acquired a rogue version?
Anyway, good idea, but i feel it has flaws & bugs.It Needs too be a little more realistic, like the soldiers able to punch & kick, & also able to use defeated armies discarded weapons, etc.Three stars only.
Not what i Expected - By: M. Nurse, 27 Dec 2007
I was a bit suprised when i got this game as i thought it was going to follow on from where Medieval II Total War Left off. Mostly I was looking forward to being the aztecs & defending against the spanish & then maybe being able to go to europe & conquer the rest of the world. But even though you can't do the things i wanted to it is still a great game, but i wouldent say it was as good as the original but if you have the original it is a must have.
Spoiled by bugs, but a patch is promised - By: C. J. Richardson, 15 Dec 2007
This expansion to M2:TW, a game that I couldn't enjoy playing until two major patches had been released, is perhaps unsurprisingly spoiled by bugs of its own. Some of the campaigns are less affected than others but alll have at least one advertised feature that doesn't work properly.

The bad news was that the developers & publishers had stated that there would be no further patches for M2:TW or Kingdoms. The good news is that they seem to have changed their minds, & a patch is expected some time in 2008. How many problems this will solve remains to be seen.

One final fly in the ointment: the game installls SecureROM copy protection on your machine. Some PC owners dislike having difficult-to-remove software installled on their machines.
The Expansion is better than the original - By: Gisli Jokull Gislason, 30 Nov 2007
After my great disappointment with Medieval II: Total War I thought I'd give this one a miss but good reviews here changed my mind & I bought it & it was well worth it. It is reallly 4 games/expansions in one & this is very good value & each expansion is very different from the next & each has a rich historical flavor. The best part is that the game is challlenging, something I didn't think Medieval II was & and some flaws have been adressed although the game can still be heavy to run, graphics are best set to minimum & if you end up in a huge battle things can go bad & the game will crash especiallly if a general is killed by artillery. But the expansion brings a lot to the game & with 4 different campaign settings, this reallly is 4 games in one, so thank you for that SEGA. Others might have tried to market them as 4 seperate games.
