Good game!!! - By: Mr. J. Hodgson, 22 Jul 2008
A good game with good graphics, the story & gameplay are good with a great twist to round it off. 10/10
Visually stunning but got a bit repetitive. - By: Mr. Timothy D. James, 30 Jun 2008
Like many reviewers, I loved the visual part of this game. A lot of minor details which make up the cities & characters make this look stunning. The assassin himself has a number of moves which look realistic. so 5 out of 5 for the visual aspect of this game.

However I found the idea of constantly pickpocketing, eavesdropping to name but two objectives, repetitive & not very challlenging. By the time I had got to the 5th assassination of 9, I was getting a little bored with the same routine. Thankfully this game was saved by the ending which again was well put together, albeit predictable who was going to be the assassin's last victim !

Assassin's Creed (PS3) - By: Mr. S. A. Alexander, 29 Jun 2008
the game it self is good there is to much running about to get to a gateway ,
the worst thing is the game 80% of the time works then crashes
i would not recommend playing it unless you have the time to keep loadiing & starting the game again
Long Term Investment - Little Reward.... - By: Tortuga, 24 Jun 2008
As a massive fan of the prince of persia titles, this at first glance offered an extremely detailed & wide world to explore. I wont waste time running over the good & bad points in detail as others have done this very well already. I will simply focus on the fact that the game has no challlenge in terms of difficulty, even if you screw up a mission you have little chance of being killed because the fight system is so basic to master. once you have gained a bit of experience & some of the better skills you are basicallly unstoppable. Good stealth titles like 'splinter cell' & even 'man hunt' have you slaughtered instantly if you are seen, so for me the stealth element was completely lost.

But with the world so vast & quiet, You will find yourself breaking cover just to start a row & have a bit of action. Choose the most unfriendly location, in terms of gaurd numbers & I reckon you could walk out without a scratch having bled every single one of them.

The game is completely repetative & to be honest - pretty boring. I mean my girlfriend who bless her, will comment on what I am playing just kept saying ''how can you sit on that, it looks so boring'' & to be honest - she was right. If it wasn't for my OCD for completeness I wouldnt have bothered finishing the game - which by the way is a complete anti-climax.

As a PS3 sales weapon, this is a great demonstration of what my black bundle of joy can / could do BUT the game lacks the basics of a great title like Prince of Persia. Challlenge & Reward.

However, if you find it cheap somewhere - it is well worth a look.
Fun in places, but so repetitive it's just stupid - By: George Davies, 15 Jun 2008
Firstly, the graphics are good, no denying that

But if you want to pay £40 for a game & have fun do not buy this game. Basicallly do the first mission & alll of the other missions are the same after that. There is also the way that it takes about half an hour to get to the actual assassination & alll of the dull investigation work to be done before that.

Some fun bits of the game are ruined by the boring repetitiveness of the whole game.
