I've Never Been So Addicted To A Game! - By: Samantha Stephens, 20 Jul 2008
I know there's so much hype surrounding this game but it's one of those rare occasions where it's to be believed. It was one of the first games I bought for my Nintendo DS about a month ago & when I bought it, the girl at the till told me that I'd become hooked... & I've played it everyday since- even just for a couple of minutes- because it's such an addiction to wonder what's happening to your character & fellow villages. This is mainly due to the fact that the game plays out in real time & I think this is one of the factors that makes it stand out against other games that may be considered similar, e.g. My Sims or The Sims.

What also makes it special are the stylings of the game; your fellow villagers are not just people but ducks, dogs, frogs, bears... alll with their own unique fashion sense & personalities, & it's brilliant to be able to find how you fit in with them.

I could spend so much longer writing about how amazing this game is, but instead I'll just recommend that you try it for yourself, because it's well worth the money.
Ok but could be so much better - By: Ms. W. L. Stockdale, 17 Jul 2008
Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo DS)

I think this came was more designed for WI-fi usage rather than a single player. I read alll the hype & thought. Wow! This sounds like a great game but,its over hyped & becomes boring & repetative after a while.

I am unable to play it by Wi-Fi but as a single player I find that it could of been so much better. Basicallly you potter around town have conversations with other charectors however, there is no opportunity for proper interation with them you are given a choice of 1 or 2 set answers & thats it.

Then you go fishing or catch bugs to pay off your mortgage to aquire an even bigger house & a bigger mortgage & then it alll starts again but there is actuallly nothing decent to do in your house either sit in a chair & lie on your bed & thats it, it goes no further. Yes you can furnish it but there are no real chances to reallly enjoy your house.

Nor are there any oppurtunities to design the town to how you like it.

Finallly it has the most annoying background music which is impossible to turn off.

The one good this is that it is set in real time, & it follows the seasons but you can not add holidays of your own such as Easter.

Good for passing 10 minutes but after that boredem soon sets in.

It's the best game I've got!!! - By: Laurence Browne, 14 Jul 2008
I got animal crossing a year ago & i'm still not bored of it. You can go fishing, catch bugs, sell stuff (Like furniture) & shake the trees (to get money or oranges from them) to get money. You can then collect lots of furniture or move into a bigger house. There's Tom nook's shop & the clothes shop. There are lots of cute animal friends to hang around with. You reallly feel like your living in the little world in your nintendo when playing this game. You can make your self little challlenges to make it more fun. GET THIS GAME. It's gr8. For people of around 5 - 16. Written by elly age 14!!
WWWHHHYYY??? - By: Tom Riley, 05 Jul 2008
Excuse me but why hasn't anyone reviewed this immense game get, im not reviewing it because i ordered the game of amazon a couple of minits ago (sorry about spelling) but i have played on it at my m8's. Its ultra addictive, i intend to go online with my friend, obviously when i have a decent town, but i'd like to just say on behalf of the Nintendo fan base, Thankyou Nintendo, Thankyou for creating brilliant games, & brilliant consoles, & you will always be better than sony or microsoft, because you only have one job to do, make people happy with games & consoles, whereas microsoft & sony are also 'dedicated' on other things, Hmmmm, dedication to multiple things doesnt reallly work, so back to the point, we love you nintendo, also a little side point i bought a ps3 after i bought my wii because the wii had no 'decent' games, what a grave mistake that was, my mega rich mate buys any games without checking what they are, this is what us nintendo fans have got to do, open our eyes & see the amazing new genres of gaming nintendo has brought to our world, Thankyou sorry for making you alll listen to that little rant, this wasnt reallly a review, just thought i should provoke someone else to do it, ill be back when my game arrives, to write an official review.
Yours sincerely Tom (neville)

Brilliant Game! - By: Robyn, 24 Jun 2008
I think it is a fantastic game, I have had it for a year already & I keep going back to it! You get your own character & choose a name for it & you have your own village with shops & animals who live in other houses who you can talk to. I reallly recommend this game.
