This is the best game i have ever been on for pc its reallly fun but may make you're pc slow.
The Best Game Ever Created!!! - By: Mr. L. Jaffray, 16 Jun 2008 Firstly, i bought the Sims 2 when i was first released for the pc. I had originallly played the sims 1 on the playstation & reallly enjoyed it. I dind't quite know what to expect for the sims 2 on pc but after staying awake for 3 days unable to draw myself away from my computer i realised what a brilliant game it is.
It is far from "Boring" that some people have stated it, there so much to do. Advance your career, family, friendships, needs, wants & fill your aspiration meter. Overalll great game. But there is one thing i will say & that is that you need a reallly superior pc to play the game to a satisfactory level. My packard bell computer was a mid level gaming pc & after 7 expansions it went a bit funny with playing the game, i.e reallly slow loading scenes between lots. But i'm well sorted because i've purhcased a brand new powerful Nvidia pc so the sims 2 will be no problem.
Brilliant - and it works on a laptop - By: Ms. Monique Philpott, 01 Jun 2008 I bought this game after a long time spent debating whether it will run on my computer or not. I was thrilled to find that it worked on my Asus Intel Pentium core duo processor laptop. I thought it was also a lovely touch that you could play mini-games to pass the time installling it.
The game - i cant fault it. If you played other Sims games & found them unfulfilling, then don't hesitate to buy this. Building a house is amazing, the graphics are incredible, i had no freeze-ups or slow loading to deal with, & the furnishings are great - especiallly the fact that you can change the colour of everything you buy.
As long as you know the money cheat (ctrl+shift+c+motherlode) then you will find this game reallly entertaining. Having a family is realistic - you try for a baby, get pregnant, the child grows up etc. There are a million little features that the original sims was missing like being able to carry the child around with you, doing homework, your sims actuallly having a brain & being able to order groceries & choosing what meal to cook.
I throughly recommend this game, although i picked it up in HMV for £15. I certainly havent experienced any difficulties with it - it runs perfectly, the graphics are fab & i end up spending hours on it when i should be doing my own homework.

The original Sims was a decent game, but after playing it a couple of times it got boring. All you needed to do was make sure sims eat, slept, went to the toilet & showered. There were no rewards for doing anything else, nothing else happened.
Which is why The Sims 2 is a much better game.
Although it still has those reallly annoying motives which means there's always some need to fill while you're trying to get a skill point or something, there's a whole new gameplay.
Sims have Wants & Fears, which now means there's actuallly a point to playing the games. You can play it in many different ways, try to drive your Sim insane by doing alll his fears or gaining lots of money by marrying other sims & then bumping them off.
Plus the clever tech stuff which means that you can have kids that look like you, choose aspiratinos for each Sim, plus better graphics, a ton more objects & lots of great music.
Just make sure your computer can cope with it.
I just Love it - By: P. Silva, 13 Apr 2008 This is one game that doesn't get me bored. It's fun & there are so many things you can do. I totaly love this game & can't wait for sims 3 to come out. Since i brought this game i have been playing it 24/7. I dont know i just like getting to the top of a career & makeing houses & sims & creating a family i like evrything about this game. I always buy the new expansion packs so that i can get new things & i also downlode houses & other thing from the sims website. I think this game is the best game ever made.
