Very dissapointing game.
Game control is lousy at best. Flyability is a big fat zero. Why people rant & rave about it is beyound me.
Rent it - even then its money down the tubes.

This game has an excellent storyline. It's graphics are awesome, you pilot different starfighters & play as different characters, alll ships have missiles. There are hours of play & lots of action. You fly around many planets including Naboo.You fight back the trade federation, you also get to fly into their giant battleship.
Best Shoot-em-up ever - By: , 17 Jan 2002 Amazing! The game sticks closely to the film, from the missions, to the ships & planets. The controls suit the gameplay, the first analogue controls the ship, & the second controls the wings (you can spin or turn to avoid rocks jutting out of cliffs.) . I don't own this myself, but my friend does & I've borrowed it 9 times in under 2 months! Only a tenner more to save, & this game will be mine! I recommend this game even if you don't like stars wars, because it'll be a classic in 5 years, guaranteed!
May the game be with you!!! - By: The Fishmeister, 29 Jul 2001 I had a choise between Zone of the Enders & Star Wars:Starfighter. So I got this game & what a choise. It's fabulous. I think the best part of the game is when you get alll the bonus missions you can take control of Darth Mauls ship. With his ship it's much easier to complete over & over again!!!

This is a great title.It brings out alll the action of the star wars films into a superb blast of excitement.Pilot different ships & defeat different enemies.This game will keep you on the edge of your seat. No dout this is the best star wars game on the PS2 yet!!!
