POSSIBLY THE WORST FILM EVER MADE IN THIS GENRE - By: Mrs. T. Wilson, 13 Mar 2010
Would like to have given no stars but 1 star is the minimum. I could not stick with this film right to the end. Had to turn off about 20 minutes from the end it was that dire. Terrible story, not funny & poor acting. Thank heavens I did not go to the cinema to see this rubbish. Only an airhead would enjoy this film.
Gentle Comedy - By: underthethumb, 10 Mar 2010
For me, this film ticked most of the boxes for a simple comedy but failed completely as a romantic one because there was just no on screen chemistry between the two leads, Isla Fisher & Hugh Dancy. It is interesting to see some other big names such as Kristin Scott Thomas, Joan Cusack & John Goodman in it but they are alll very much underused which is a shame as they could have added so much more to it.

The extras include a short blooper reel & deleted scenes.

Sort of worth watching if you are in the mood for something gentle but it isn't that funny or very memorable.
Feel good film - By: Sarah, 09 Mar 2010
I loved alll the books & worried that the film wouldn't leave up to the expectations.
The film is different to the book... but if you watch the film & take it at face value it's reallly good fun film.
Isla Fisher is awesome & in my opinion should be given more films of this nature to star in!
Confessions of a Shopaholic DVD - By: Mrs. P. A. Mason, 09 Mar 2010
If you are a fan of Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic books then you must see the DVD.Isla Fisher plays the part of Becky Bloomfield to perfection with her happy carefree shopping ways.If it gleams, glistens or is just there in front of her she must have it - including a very expensive emerald green scarf that would pay for the entire wardrobe of most girls.Go for it & shopping will never be the same again.
An easy going, feel good movie - By: Monica Lobo, 28 Feb 2010
I bought this DVD because I wanted a nice, easy going, feel good movie & it definetely fit the purpose. I am not a fan of the "Shopaholic" book series (I've only read one, the wedding one, & didn't reallly like it), so was a bit skeptical of this, but it was a nice evening in :-)
