the final series - By: Kyle Holman, 15 Mar 2010
outstanding
SPOILER FREE
a lot of reviews complained about the conclusion to the story, but remember its alll about the charactors not just the space battles.
However Ron Moore delivers battles, story, great acting & a satisfying end.
And the last Bl''dy cylon :)
Beyond this is The Plan movie but doesnt reallly contribute to the story much.
I loved it
All that has happened before, i will happily watch again....again.....
A fitting end to a great series - no spoilers - By: Damian Kelly, 11 Mar 2010
For tbe first 2 seasons of BSG I couldn't reallly see the fuss. I watched the whole thing on DVD & the first two seasons took me 2 years. I only occasionallly watched an episode & rarely felt compelled to watch another straight away. There were high points, particularly the stand-off with Pegasus. But I didn't feel particular intrigued or interested in the characters.
But the slog was worth it because the character development in those first two seasons were essential for the immense satisfaction from Season 3 onwards. The complex multi-layered plots, fascinating characters, mystery. It has everything. I watched the final 3 seasons in about a month.
No spoilers here. Just to say for those in doubt, the final revelations are worth the wait. Most of the questions are resolved in a satisfying finale but it still remains fairly enigmatic.
undelivered - By: B. Pasquino, 11 Mar 2010
Unfortunately, I never received this item, but only the e-mail where it is stated that the "delivery was impossible". Strange, since it is the same address where I received dozens, litterallly, of previous products purchased through Amazon.
Too bad, but it's like that....
Good, exciting, sit on edge of your seat stuff! - By: Michael Hewitt, 25 Feb 2010
I have so far watched the 1st 2 episodes of this final series & its good - not sure whether is better then series 4 but it certainly has the potential.
If you like the Battlestar Galactica series - you will enjoy this.
Also It was delivered in very good time & in great condition.
thats all folks - By: xl5, 21 Feb 2010
Not a usual storyline for a US show - basicallly God is directly responsible for the deaths of billions & billions of innocent men, women, & children in order to get a couple of thousand to Earth, most of whom are presumably telephone sanitisation engineers.
Looks like the TV/cinema version of SF has a way to go before it catches up with the "real stuff".
( although FAQ About Time Travel is brilliant, but probably not to the taste of most BSG stalwarts ).
