Fantastico! - By: Jane, 08 Feb 2010
Brothers & Sisters just gets better in my opinion. I missed the second season on the TV - because I think the advertising is limited. However, I pre-ordered the box set & as soon as it was delivered I watched the episodes back to back from start until finish! Amazing!
The Walker family are so intriguing. I love how tightly knit they are. Each character just pulls you in to their world. I am truly hooked.
I have to say, Sallly Field is Fan-tab-ulous!

A superb watch for any Brothers & Sisters fan - By: tina f, 04 Jan 2010
If you've watched Season 1 & Season 2 you must watch Season 3. Well recommended - see what happens in this Season. A must for any Brothers & Sisters fan.
Smart, witty and engaging - By: Nymia, 22 Dec 2009
Although I didn't enjoy it quite as much as Season 1 (which blew me away, so that's only a reflection on the sublime Season 1 & no poor reflection at alll on Season 2), Brothers & Sisters is a fantastic series. In fact, I think it does for families what the West Wing did for politics, which is probably the highest accolade I can give it. In other words, it is interesting, enjoyable, engaging, messy, sad, infuriating. It revolves around food & motherhood, squabbles & humour (ok, sometimes it's like watching an extended Christmas Day replay once the booze sets in & the elderly relatives are snoring in the corner, alll that's left to do is get into arguments!) but it is admirably executed & a pleasure to watch, & it makes the viewer reallly want to be part of that family.
There are a lot of TV shows on at the moment which seem to have been let down by a particular season, often explained by "Oh but that's the Writers' Strike season".
This is The Writers' Strike season, but it has compromised only on length, & not on quality, & I'm vastly relieved. The best thing currently airing on TV, in my opinion, now that the Sopranos, the Wire & the West Wing are alll over.
Hooked! - By: Teacher Teacher, 29 Oct 2009
My friend lent me season 1 of Brothers & Sisters & I got completely hooked. I watched season 2 in less than two weeks & I loved every minute of it. I am already half way through season 3 & look forward to the realease of season 4. It is a little typical of american sitcoms in the sense that despite alll the troubles the characters go through they always seem to have enough money to go out, get married etc but I love it anyway. A definate must buy.
Titles are there for something! - By: Teresa Leandro, 01 Aug 2009
This TV series is simply superb! And it's also my new addiction.
Season two is shorter, only 16 episodes (writers strike, I guess), but what a joy it was to see Ken Olin again! He is a fine actor, indeed. He also has directed some of the most deeply moving episodes of Brothers & Sisters. I just love Mr Olin, I can't wait for the much expected release of Thirtysomething's first series (I've already pre-ordered two copies, one for me, one for my best friend).
As for this DVD edition, I only have to complain about the lack of titles. Each episode as a title, & it's meaningful. Why were titles left out? Besides,it's disrespectful to the authors.
Still, I give it five stars. To the series, I mean.
Because of the lack of titles, this DVD edition deserves merely four.
