Fantastic - By: Mattdoc30, 19 Mar 2010
This is a brilliant series that I've heard described perfectly as X-Files crossed with Lost. Makes fantastic viewing - highly recommended.
Good show - By: Star gazer, 19 Mar 2010
It's not a great show, but it's good. Even as Fringe science, the science & statements are often (mostly) utter nonsense, but who cares? I watched these episodes pretty fast & will watch season 2.
Fantastic Fringe - By: A. G. Mcsloy, 02 Mar 2010
This is the best show from the States in ages. Can't wait for Season 2 to come out.

It gets better! - By: marymc, 20 Feb 2010
I love Fringe.

It's fairly simple. HOWEVER, season one is not as good as season two. You'll buy this box set either to start a collection, or for the extras, but you're probably already a fan if you're even here.

The extras are good. There aren't a lot of commentaries (which frankly, I don't listen to that often anyway), but there is at least one extra with each episode, which is a nice touch. For alll Fringe viewers outside the USA (i.e. - THE REST OF THE WORLD! :D) you probably won't have seen these before, unless on the internet, so it's nice to have them in context. The gag reel is amusing (whoda thunk the Fringies laugh?!). There are also a few interesting features on the making of Fringe, & an amusing little special about Gene the Cow.

The box is well presented, & the hologram with the actors faces vs. the glyphs is a nice touch.

To sum up, Fringe is something you stick with in season one because you're curious, & get rewarded for in season two. Because you're great. ;)
