..and he loves it..
It was a present for his 23 birthday & he was reallly pleased with it.. plus its blue-ray so its perfect to look at.. reallly nice !
The best at it's best! - By: Hampus Lager, 12 Mar 2010 I'm not gonna talk much about the series itself. We alll know what a great show it is: extremely well-written, outstanding acting with beautiful cinematography & music.
It was great on TV, even better on DVD, but it is at it's finest when it's blue.
The transfer is a beauty. Deep blacks, wonderful contrast & wonderfully saturated colors. yeah, because it's blu-ray you can see when the focus puller missed, & some extra grain when it's extremely low light. But that's ok since only occures a couple of times. The crew of the film did a great job.
The audio is a winner. Dialogue & sound effects of highest quality perfectly mixed so it would make any Oscar winner for best sound jealous.
And the price. Even better. In Sweden it's more than twice the price. A lot more. I love UK film shopping!

BAND OF BROTHERS - VIEW... - By: Gordon Keenan, 09 Mar 2010 I picked up this BlueRay set for under Eighteen pounds more on impulse than anything else.
Presentation of the product packaging is superb, very high quality indeed.
The actual series itself?? I enjoyed ever single moment of it, though at the first episode I did feel that having someone so well known for being in Friends, acting as a bully commander, was hard to accept, but apart from that the whole series itself was an incredible viewing experience.
This is a series I will go back to & watch again I reckon, simply because of the nature of the story itself.
One of the best TV series ever. - By: Mr. Y. S. Finberg, 08 Mar 2010 I bought this from Amazon in the January sales- there was 80% discount (!!) Needless to say the price was very good. I have seen this on the telly around 2003 (can't remember exactly when) &
already knew it was very good. At first my delivery never arrived, but after an email to Amazon they sent another delivery, which arrived very quickly, no hassles at alll. I wasn't disappointed- the picture quality is amazing & the sound reallly good not to mention the amazing story of easy company, reallly a must see, very educational, very sad at times & beautifully directed & acted. Definitely one of the best television series ever!
