Classic Frasier Crane - By: DP, 10 Jul 2009
I am a Frasier Crane nut, & I simply can't get enough of this programme - thankfully this series did not disappoint, with some fantastic episodes, with well thought-through plot lines, & the classic humour we have come to expect.
A must-buy for fans of the series.
Great stuff Dr Crane - By: Mr. Ap Noakes, 23 Mar 2009
Season seven was the turning point in Frasier. Daphne finallly opened her eyes & saw what had been obvious from the moment they met, that Niles was in love with her. Funny as the whole thing was you did wonder at times how she went seven years without even susspecting. Typicallly the writers did a great job of making the whole process as hilarious & complex as they could, Daphne getting engaged & Niles meeting Mel, a plastic surgeon with alll of Maris's worst personality traits. We also meet Daphne's various family members such as her mother Gertrude & her loutish brother Simon who manages to rub Roz up the wrong way.
Why end now? - By: C. Gregori, 07 Mar 2009
I am not going to give full stars as it is the end of the greatest show on the history of TV. Not even Bewitched is as good & Bewitched is that good!! This is the last series. Until now, Frasier has not found his true love, the one he is looking for. Will he find her? I will not spoil for you, but I watched the whole last series just recently (years after the show ended) & I shed a little tear. It was just like yesterday that I saw the witty brothers with their father, a funny dog, a sex maniac producer & a British maid (that is what she was) made us laugh hard. They were so brilliant I even started drinking sherry!

It is a very intelligent comedy & excellent actors who made this series go this far. It is so good you still watch them on TV now. And I hope it will be showing for a long time. If you never watched Frasier, please start from series 1 & you will be introduced to a family that starts dysfunctional, but ends up a very loving family.
Clever and Intelligent Comedy - By: Mr. Ross Maynard, 07 Jan 2009
Series 7 is, of course, the one where Niles & Daphne finallly get together & plot developments in this story are cleverly sprinkled across the episodes with a very moving final episode. The majority of the episodes here are extremely funny with some superb episodes - Martin pretending to be gay, the Russian princess etc. Nevertheless I am not convinced this series reaches the heights of some of the early ones. For example, apart from the final episode, there is very little on-screen chemistry between Niles & Daphne. A couple of episodes of the quality of "Moondance" would reallly have helped build the romantic tension. Secondly, Niles' girlfriend for the series - Mel - is a deeply unsympathetic character & the episodes she features in tend to be annoying rather than funny. Thirdly we meet Daphne's dreadful family in the last couple of episodes. Their characters, in my view, do not enhance any episode they are in, & positively spoil the next series. Finallly a smalll minority of the episodes seem to rehash storylines from past series - another Winnebago episode ! - meaning we've seen the jokes before & they are less funny this time.

Having said alll that, there are many excellent episodes in Series 7 & it is well worth the money. The last episode of the series is one of the most moving of alll.
