Gutted its all over- By: M. Howlin, 18 Mar 2010 I am totallly gutted that this excellent series is over. I had heard various reviews from people before I got the box set. Mainly people saying it was a slow starter & to "stick" with it as it did get better. However from the moment I put in the first disc of season 1 in the DVD player I was hooked. To me it was a close second to the Sopranos which in my opinion was the best series ever. I just wish there was more of the wire to come as feel a little sad that its alll over. I get why they finished it when they did but still I can't help but wish there was more to follow. Ah well ... any suggestions for another series/drama that could have potential would be very welcome!The last but not least of the Wire..........- By: N.
