Amazing!!! - By: Mrs. M. Laird, 09 Jul 2008
I am a massive Prison Break Fan & this season did not disappoint me (apart from being only 13 episodes), I was gutted when Sky one took it & I have had to wait for the boxset but this alllowed me to have aa amazing Prison Break marathon. In true Prison Break style this season is full of suspense, twists an turns & keeps you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait for season 4...I love this show!!
Can't really judge till after season 4 - By: Student Viewer, 06 Jul 2008
The story hasn't finished yet so until we see season 4 you can't reallly comment on the story too much. What we've seen so far has some similarities with season 1 but not so much that it ruins it at alll. It's still interesting & you always want to know what happens next. The characters are alll great & every little thing ties in well (although not quite as much as season one). Still brilliant tv though! Things happen much faster than in the likes of Lost.
Best if watched in the space of a few days!
Prison Break 3 is dark, gritty and plain brilliant!!!! Sona is Hell! - By: Mr. Carl David Corby, 04 Jul 2008
When you look at the intelligence & the quality of the first Season & the pace & the depth of the second, what was missing was the dark & gritty side & Season 3 has that in alll 13 episodes. It is more dark, we see the violent side of Michael Scofield & the emotional side instead of his clam persona. The setting is scary, brutal & an image of hell. Sona is without a doubt, the scariest prison you will ever come across. The inmates run the yard, people die & nobody comes out alive. The writers were reallly clever with Sona, it is the setting that we get to see Michael's different side. The side where he is not only brains but aggressive. I think the star of the 3rd Season is Alex Mahone's character. He has become more important as the show goes on & the newfound respect he finds with Michael is great for the show. With the sweaty & heated feel of Panama & the dark, rainy, hot & brutal reality of Sona.........this Season is brilliant & is the best of the lot in my view.
Completely Addictive - By: A. J. Hepworth, 29 Jun 2008
I think series 3 is nearly almost as brilliant as series 1 - once again completely addictive/compulsive viewing. How do the writers think of alll those twists & turns. Amazing. Throughly enjoyed performances by Wade Williams (Brad Balllick) Robert Knepper (T-Bag) & Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield)...still disappointed one of the main strong characters got killed off in series 2 but the writers soon bring in other strong actors & storylines. Cant wait to see series 4 (if there is one - I do keep reading they are filming).
Deeply deeply silly - how the mighty have fallen! - By: E. Whitmore, 28 Jun 2008
The plotting is repetitious & silly - almost laughably so at times - & there's a general air of desperation & ever decreasing circles about the whole enterprise. Such a shame because the first two series were so bracingly taut & bursting with good characters. What reallly sinks Season 3 is the casting of a terrible actor in a major role - Whistler - every time the actor opens his mouth you can see Wentworth Miller or which ever unfortunate member of the cast he happens to share a scene with wincing in anticipation of that reliably 100% wooden delivery. at the end of season 2 sona was billed as a lawless scary kind of place but it turns out to be quite a colourful cheeful little joint - a bit like a cheap holiday camp in fact & about as gritty. fox river & its inmates were considerably scarier & more threatening not mention more realistic.
