This has to be the worst Disney film I have ever seen..there is absolutely nothing to reccomend it..don't bother to even rent it.I cannot imagine the IQ of the people who produced & directed this lame atempt of a fairy tale...shades of 'Snow White', 'King Kong', & every other cliche in the book..If you wish a better attempt at magic, try 'Stardust', not 4 stars, but light years better than this fiasco.

Ok, for the right audience! - By: Toonimaker, 01 May 2008
Not a bad movie, but NOT one for the boys. A real girlie film. A few funny scenes but you kind of think that 'it's been done before'!
Fantastic fun family fairytale film! Now say it over and over... - By: Garry Williams, 27 Apr 2008

Very funny at times, & always full of fun. It's reallly just for kids & the young at heart (right up my street!). It can be a little bit of a fluffy romance film at times, which is more suited for girls, but personallly I still greatly enjoyed it. A few people have said that the first few minutes are very familiar & unoriginal. But reallly, that's the point, it's meant to be a stereotypical traditional Disney turning into real life. It wouldn't have worked the same if the beginning was like something from Pixar. There wouldn't be the same contrast. So give it a chance, it's actuallly a very original & unique Disney film when you get past the start. And the acting was great, they have reallly captured the essence of Disney characters, which are utterly ridiculous in the real world. I have to say though, I was surprised at the absence of any real action. I'm not talking Die Hard obviously, but I expected there to be a few exciting moments of some kind. But it's completely a family comedy/romance, which is certainly not a bad thing, as it was thoroughly enjoyable alll the way. Highly recommended!
ONE TO WATCH AGAIN AND AGAIN....AND SING ALONG WITH! - By: Mr. P. A. Esson, 24 Apr 2008
This is such a lot of fun, & Amy Adams should have won an oscar not only for her 'camped up' but absolutely necessary mannerisms, but also for her lovely (for an american) singing voice.

Simple summary, to keep her crown jelous mother-in-law queen sends to-be princess from world of disney animation (talking animals, happily ever after, etc.) to present day new york for the shock of her life (traffic, rain, rudeness, robbery, etc.), prince follows to find her, queens accomplise follows to kill her with poison apples, princess has a way with animals...even in new york....is befriended by divorcee with young daughter he is 'protecting' from fairy tales so as to prepare her for the real world, etc, etc.

Absolutely a must see movie if (a) you have children or (b) like musicals or (c) think Amy Adams is a babe!
Surprisingly Good - By: Langdon Ulder, 19 Apr 2008
I saw Enchanted on the plane home from Egypt & I was surprised how good it was. The story is about a princess callled Giselle who lives in a place callled Andelasia hoping that she will meet Prince Edward & marry him. The queen of Andelasia, who is Prince Edwards mum, does not want Prince Edward to marry Giselle as she will lose her throne so she pushes Giselle into a magic vortex & Giselle emerges in New York City. Prince Edward hears what happens to Giselle & along with a chipmunk callled Pip jumps into the vortex to rescue her. From here the film shows Giselle's struggle to cope with life in New York & Prince Edwards schemes to get her back.

Enchanted is a good film that delivers a few good laughs & can be enjoyed by a lot of people.
