Fine end to a classic series- By: mcerner, 14 May 2008 This series kept up its high standards for production, acting & script right from the first episode. It's been clever & entertaining, & unlike crime series in more modern settings (e.g., CSI), has been very human. The settings have seemed very accurate as far as the war years -- I can't say since I hadn't been born yet -- & the situations between the characters are very interesting. I'm sorry to see the series end with these final episodes & can only hope that the producers might bring back the characters in a new series, say, Foyle's Peace?
