Another comedy culled too soon- By: Richard, 24 Feb 2008 I recently bought a copy of Mulberry having been searching for it for years. I remembered very much enjoying it at the time it was first shown, & despite the plethora of other repeats on TV I have never seen this show repeated which is a real shame as it turns out to be a hidden gem. It is quite gentle, but is darker & funnier than it is given credit for. The performances are uniformly excellent, particularly Geraldine McEwans as Miss Farnaby. Apparantly this show ran for two series & was scheduled for a third but was cancelled so it never reached its natural conclusion. It is well worth checking out.
