I'm a big fan of celine dion as a singer & there is no doubt when she's at her best she is the best.However the quality of her singing in this show from las vegas is not as good as it can be & nowhere near as good as her singing on the vhs recording of her live performance from Memphis Tennessee.Many of celine's fans wil tell you the Memphis concert is her best ever performance & I would agree with them - she sings lots of the songs that are featured in this las vegas show but more tunefully & with more commitment & punch ( perhaps because memphis was a one-off event & more like fun than work for her!).And the mix of songs is just right in the memphis concert with lots of good dancing,and joking around with her band & singers & the audience thrown in for good measure.This las vegas show is is visuallly spectacular but often not as spectacular as it was meant to be because at times the lighting on dancers is so poor it's difficult to see them.There are two discs & I think many people will be satisfied with buying them because of the large amount of bonus material.But if you want to hear celine singing at her best get hold of a copy of the concert from memphis.It's on vhs & hasn't been put on dvd yet which is astonishing considering how good it is.

I was lucky enough to see this show at Caesars Palace - Las Vegas (March 2007)and take it from me, this Blu-ray took me right back to my seat in that theatre. 'My heart will go on' reduces me, a grown man to tears.

I think today she is second to none & will go down in history as the best singer of our times. Her range, her voice, her poise, her stage presence, everything is superb. This Blue Ray disk is a must for every Hometheatre owner to possess even if you are not much of her fan. Dolby True HD sound, amazing picture quality & beautifully directed show make this IMHO the best musical concert I have ever seen at home, period.
you WILL NOT regret buying this!! - By: Mr. D. M. Thomas, 15 Mar 2008 I bought this Dvd in Blu-ray format, & then ordered one in Normal Format for my Lovely Monster in Law, Sylvia. My in Laws in are in their late 70s, but have a great sound system (helps when you are half deaf), & humongous plasma screen (also helps when you have to reach for that magnifying glass that Nana had to use in the Royle Family), It is Simply Superb. There is no way in hell's chance that there is a better Music Dvd out there. 3 years in the Making. The stage show was wonderful. 100 foot Lcd Screen, Celine performed in front of. Directed by the same guy that does Cirque Du Soleil.
I only now buy Music Dvds as at least you do not mind playing them more than once, & by the time you get to the final track, Titanic theme, you will be reaching for your hanky (if any american is reading this, I mean Kleenex ). Celine is a genuine person, unlike many out there.
