With quite an epic finish to season 9, you're probably thinking "Oh yes! Season 10 is gonna rock!!" Well honestly...even though an Ori army is now in our galaxy...it isn't alll that different from season 9. I will admit, there are some great episodes, both humourous, & action packed, not to mention the brilliant 200th episode, & Marina Baccarin bringing new eye candy to the show.
But seriously, we get to the end & we still haven't defeated the Ori?! And the last episode is one of those useless ones which i thought the writers didn't do anymore?! Especiallly seen as it was the last ever episode, you would have thought they would make it a bit more meaningful?!! Nope. And on the subject, the Asgard kill themselves cos they realise they can't undo the whole Clone deteriation copy thing. What the hell?!!
The Season is pretty good, but it didn't let Stargate go out with a bang - it went out with a whimper.
Yes, the season is worth watching, but don't get your hopes up like i did about the last episode. The Season is good, but the last episode is severely dissappointing!!

Just watched this series on my ipod, loved it. the 200 episode was a bit irritating but....just as enjoyable as the other episodes.

A good end - By: T. R. Alexander, 20 Jul 2009 This tenth & final season of Stargate SG-1 sees the team continue to deal with the Ori invasion but as the Ori gain a new leader & old allliances begin to fragment, things are not looking good for Earth.
This final series of SG-1 isn't the best the series has had to offer but it is still very good & is easily one of my favourite sci-fi series. This season sees Claudia Black's character of Vala join the team on a permanent basis & she pretty much steals the entire show.
This season does have a bit more of an episodic feel to it than previous ones, which is a little of a letdown, but the continuing plot is interesting & although it isn't as compulsive viewing as it use to be, there is still enough to keep you watching. The humour on the other hand is better than ever with most of the episodes in this season having some very funny scenes. Of alll the episodes in the series my favourite has to be `Talion' which is both funny & has some nice action. This season also includes the somewhat love it or hate it episode `200' which is both funny & cringe worthy in equal measure.
Some of the storylines from the series are left somewhat hanging by the end of the season, & these are concluded in the two TV movies `Ark of Truth' & `Continuum', which is somewhat annoying but overalll this is an entertaining season & a good way to end the series proper.

Series 10 was fantastic, quick paced great entertainment. Shame it is the end for SG1. what will I watch now? Last episodes leave you wondering if the ori are reallly gone....buy & watch Ark of Truth it adds a great finish to the whole thing. Amazon have Ark of Truth & Continuum in a reallly great priced box set.
