I rented this movie one night when there was nothing else on the tv to watch. I loved it so much I bought it the very next day (from Amazon of course). It's heartwarming, funny & romantic. Not sure it's one for the boys to watch, although you never know.....
Loved It - By: Rachel Brown, 28 May 2008 I watched this film with my family, & I don't know about them, but I loved it. It is a film that sticks in your mind because it makes you feel warm inside. It gets the balance between comedy & romance perfectly & it is now one of my favourite films.

I don't normallly write comments for dvds, but this film was such a huge disappointment that I felt I had to. The fantastic cast tempted me, but the film itself was totallly without plot or humour, & went on far too long. Give it a miss!

It's a movie to watch with your girlfriend, but to be honest it did nothing for me. At over two hours it's just too long, they could have easily chopped half an hour out of it. And Jack Black is wasted, he's a great comedy actor but plays his role dead straight; it could have been played by anyone.

I bought this film as a present for my husband when it was first released; we have watched it a couple of times & love it! It's funny, touching, has great characters - Cameron Diaz & Jack Black especiallly - the perfect film to watch for a cosy night in....
