This collection of the main body of Flatley's work is just terrific. Don't buy this looking for many extras; aside from a behind-the-scenes on Celtic Tiger, alll you get are the shows themselves, but what shows! From the amazing compositions by Ronald Hardiman to the breathtaking agility & skill of the dancers, the atmosphere of these performances is tangible. What you see in each show is the climax of years of painstaking work, & it's abundantly clear that much blood, sweat & tears went into these shows.
The result is nothing short of memorising. Flatley comes in for a bit of stick for what's often perceived as his arrogance, but I defy you to watch these & tell me it's not proportionate to his talent. He is truly a contender for the best dancer alive. I love this set, & would recommend it to anyone who fancies watching a master-class in dance.
Michael Flatley is the Lord - By: Debbie, 05 Jan 2007 If you like michael flatley, this 3 dvd set is a must, each dvd has a magic about it, I got this set for a christmas present, & I just cant get enough of it.
It has brought me hours of entertainment, Michael flatley is fantastic he puts on such a fantastic performance, his dancing is amazing in fact the whole cast are fantastic, a definate 10 out of 10,reallly gets your heart beating faster. The music, costumes, the set are out of this world..... I reallly cant praise this dvd set enough.
