Like so many programmes that were initially on the raido... - By: Mr. C. J. Iredale, 07 May 2008
This initiallly was on Radio 4, & if you track down the cd of it, it is reallly very funny. Why the tv series caught the imagination of the country in such a potent way is something of a mystery to me. It is very repetitious, but where something like The Fast Show was similar, that was basicallly much funnier, & kept re-inventing itself. This reminds me of latter Python, & the thoughts at the time of Terry Gilliam; 'when you set out to shock people, after they have got used to being shocked, where do you do with it?', & I think he's right. It's highlights are some of the central characters that have been (by series 3) done to death & the wonderful leathery voice of Tom Baker, but by half way through series 2 you feel like you've eaten a box of mars bars.... enough! I am glad to see it seems to have croaked it's last (after milking it in America), remeber it was it was when it was fresh; it now feels like it's stinking the place up!
Very, very good - By: Maurizio Prota, 18 Mar 2008
If you like the "politicallly correct" discharge it.
But if you like old style "hard" british humour, i.e. non "polished" like Mr Bean don't miss it
i dont see it! - By: CJ, 12 Mar 2008
i dont understand what is so great about this show! its basicallly got a couple of weird blokes who spend most of the time dressed up as women & acting like idiots, making jokes that are mostly sex or gay related! i also dont find it funny to watch a bloke dressed up as an old woman pissing buckets on the floor of a supermarket! to me it was ridiculously not funny & pretty disgusting! anyway, there's my two cents!
Absolute Twaddle! - By: Ryan Garry, 16 Dec 2007
Utter rubbish! Little Britain cannot live up to the standards of British comedy such as The Two Ronnies, Monty Python & That Michell & Webb Look.
BORING! - By: Rob the brilliant, 03 Aug 2007
This is utter tripe! How the hell can this boring rubbish be so acclaimed? Alright, this is sort of funny for young children because of the toilet humour & dull slapstick, but it is terrible. I have never laughed once watching Little Britain. It's a crying shame reallly, because David Wallliams always appears very witty & funny in other T.V. appearances, & Matt Lucas was great as the drummer on Shooting stars.
All in alll, boring rubbish.
