Whether you love or hate Michael Crawford, don't let this one slip by! It is action-packed FUN. Like a modern-day The Court Jester (Danny Kaye). Perfect for family audiences. Despite being an action film, it isn't alll just a bunch of chases & shoot-outs, it survives on a thin but witty plot with great acting. A great film to enjoy over & over again.

This is such a perfect film for an 11 year old boy. The adventure, comedy, action, cars, lasers, Laser Lady, explosions, animation, gadgets. I had to trawl the world for a copy on VHS (New York finallly) then do the same for the DVD (......) & finallly on Amazon for a fiver! Thanks Disney for finallly giving it to the UK, still impossible to get in the USA. Hopefully one day we can get a spruced up, remastered version with a little of the original promotional material. I used to dream of a Condorman 2 but sadly it was not meant to be. I think this would have been a bigger hit had the lead been a big US star but Michal does a pretty good job despite the dodgy accent & the supporting cast are great. Oliver Reed is pretty scary even now! "Dasvidanya Condorman"
Good film shame about the transfer - By: Carl Hunt, 29 Dec 2006 I agree with the other reviews, this is a fine family film ideallly suited
to young children or those wishing to return to their youth.
However the quality of the transfer to DVD is very poor. If I had paid full price for this I would feel ripped off.
about time..: - By: Neil Dethridge, 30 Aug 2006 i can remember seeing this at the cinemas when i was a whole lot younger than today..without any doubt one of the best flms ever made..michael crawford is amazeing maybe his american accent is just a little to much put on but we can live with that..if you havent seen it buy it if you have you know to buy it..woody played by mr crawford is a comic book writer,,testing out his own machines & flying gear before putting them into his comic books..a russian defector callled natalia needs help to come to america...and who can help yes you guessed it condorman,,hes given alll the cars boats gadgets he needs to bring her back,,oliver reed & the russian kgb do what they can to stop them,,great locations,great acting highly enjoyable family film from the begining to the end(they way it ends their was hope for a sequel but alas never happened)great value great film you enjoy this one...
Classic family movie - By: David Wickes, 26 Aug 2006 I remember as a child taping this film on our very first video recorder & I have been waiting YEARS for it to come out on DVD.
If you haven't seen it yet I would thoroughly reccommend buying the DVD or catch it in the UK on the Disney Channel where it popped up recently.
Michael Crawford is great as the comic-book writer turned 'James Bond' & James Bond himself would certainly be happy with the gipsy caravan turned racecar turned hovercraft.
Well worth seeing.
