A bloody end to a bloody series- By: T. R. Alexander, 28 Jul 2007 Elfen Lied finishes as it started with lots of blood & tenderness in equal measure. These final three episodes rap up the series, tying up most of the loose ends & sees Kohta finallly realising the truth about Lucy & Kurama taking it upon himself to do the right thing. Although the series as a whole does have many scenes that those of a sensitive disposition may find awful, if you look beyond the gore & nudity then you will find an outstandingly well told story. Elfen Lied has been a brilliantly entertain, if dark & disturbing, series & is probably one of the greatest anime series I have watched.
