look, i thought at first that i like watching Cybill ... but i found out later that i am addicted ... i might be the first to buy each of her series even before they were out (pre-ordered)....
i highly recommend speciallly the 2nd series!!!
you can never stop laughing whether Cybill or her best friend or daughters, Xhusbands ... any!!!

Really really funny show with a great Star - By: rickshayne, 11 Jun 2008 I first saw Cybill on German tv & fell in love with it, there are not many sitcoms from the mid 90s who were this überwitty & sarcastic like Cybill. You may think Friends & Will & Grace, but they are very different.
The only thing I miss from the German dubbing is Maryann's stronger & manlier voice which is funnier than Baranski's actual voice, however after a couple of episodes I got used to it & I can see she shines anyway.
Cybill still holds its own & has several laugh out moments even in the first episodes, which sometimes it tv shows can be a bit more trivial than later seasons. I cannot imagine why this show is not on DVD in the US, they just issued a best of compilation......
Odd also that they box of this dvd says it's a 4-dvd collection, when it's actuallly 3.
For the price amazon.co.uk is offering this show, it's a steal, get this, you will not regret it
Hilarious - By: henrycrun, 21 Nov 2007 I remember watching this show many years ago, when it became available on DVD I couldn't wait to buy a copy. I was not disappointed. Unlike many programs that I used to watch & have since bought on DVD this show HAS stood the test of time & IS still as funny now as it was then. I have two teenage daughters who watch with me & they laugh just as loudly as I do. Which just proves that good clean fun does not date.

I have waited so long for these dvds, & I couldn't be happier with them!
Wonderful quality in the dvds & packaging too.
Please bring out alll the seasons! I promise to buy them alll!
