A very funny film from beginning to end.If you've ever had someone who you wanted to get to know better tell you "we're just friends" this production will have you in stitches with laughter. If you haven't it will have you in stitches anyway.Suitable for 12 years old & over "Just Friends" is beautifully filmed in the depths of a New Jersey winter, has good dialogue & acting & will leave you with a warm feeling in your belly.

Funny and Friendly film - By: Stampy, 27 Jan 2008
Ryan Reynolds (Two guys, a girl & a pizza place) stars in this predictable but funny romantic comedy about an attractive man, returning home to find that he is still in love with his high school crush.

A charming romantic comedy, Just Friends has lots of great physical comedy. Set in Christmas time, the jokes involving decorations & ice skating competitions provide many laughs, as do the stereotypical characters.

Predictable in that the ending is like every other romantic film out there, however it is a joy to see the film get there with Chris Klein's Dusty Dinkleman playing a delicious part.

The acting is good enough to justify the comedy genre, & Anna Faris (Scary Movies) is a delight to watch as the crazy superstar.

The romantic part of the film is very sweet, if somewhat off putting. The whole player aspect of Chris Brander's character is interesting to observe as audiences explore both sides of the male personality, the cold & the warm sides.

Reynolds & Faris steel the show & are a joy to watch in this funny worth watching romantic comedy.

A hidden gem of a movie. - By: Donnie Darko, 01 Nov 2007
I should preface this review by saying I am a big fan of Ryan Reynolds, I loved him in 'Two Guys & a Girl' & have kept an eye out for him ever since, yet for some reason this film never reallly interested me, however, I got it as part of a set with 'Waiting' & 'Van Wilder' so gave it a go, & found it to actuallly be the funniest movie out of the three. Reynolds carries off the high school nerd surprisingly well, & Faris, who I have never reallly been impressed with in her previous efforts, steals the show as the Britney/Paris clone IT girl. As expected most of the humour is slapstick, but remarkably well done & provides plenty of laugh out loud moments, particularly the scenes with Reynolds & his kid brother. Klein & Smart also turn in decent performances, but for the most part they are happy to stay in the background & let the outstanding Reynolds/Faris combination carry the movie. Loses a star because it does run out of steam a bit towards the end, but a very enjoyable film.

A Film That Will Make You Laugh Out Loud!! Very Rare! - By: Mr. A. Round, 30 May 2007
This has to be one of the funniest movies I have seen for a while.
It's from the similar American Pie, Road Trip humour but the movie ploughs on through alll that teen stuff! This is a twenty something's film!!

Very few movies these days make you laugh out loud, I found when watched with a few friends alll of us were laughing... something that seems to be missing from most new "comedy" movies!!

If you loved American Pie, AP2 & the wedding watch it! You will love it!
