Although im not a big fan of Jennifer Lopez, this has to be her best film. Its such an amazing film it has to be one of the best films i have ever bought!! If you dont own it, you must go & buy it or rent it at the least. You dont know what your missing!!

I first watched this film about 4 years ago when my cousin & I rented it from the local video store, we didn't know reallly what to expect & I don't think either of us expected it to be as great as what it is!

After watching it once in the evening we then decided that me just HAD to watch it the next morning! Not only were we gripped by the storyline but we were touched by the relationship between the character of Slim & her daughter Gracey.

When improving my dvd collection I decided that this was one that i MUST have in it, so I spent ages tracking it down & when I finallly did I did not hesitate to watch it again. Although I had seen it twice before & knew what was going to happen I still remained gripped throughout & watching it again a few days later still didn't make a difference!

I would recommend this film to anyone as it's tension still remains however many times you choose to watch it. The storyline provides a great message & what Slim will go through to protect her daughter will not fail to move you!

When you think Jennifer Lopez, you think cheesy rom-com films such as 'The Wedding Planner' & 'Maid in Manhattan'. Suprisingly enough this film is not only fantastic but it very inspirational!

The film follows Slim (j.lo) a waitress, who serves a man trying to bed her for a bet & ends up marrying the man who interfers & tells her about the bet. Everything is picture perfect - she get married, has a kid & live in a huge house.
But the fantasy starts to go wrong....
She discovers that Mitch (her husband)is cheating on her, you alll think 'why the hell would you stay with him?'
however when she confronts him about it he is physicallly violent with her & beats her up, threatening her if she leaves him or tries to take his daughter away.
Juilette lewis co-stars as slim's friend who, one night, helps her to escape
Slim lives her life on the run with a false identity, trying to keep her & her daughter safe, however no restraining orders will stop her violent husband, & with a friend in the police he tracks her down. Again on the run she realises that you can run but you can't hide & no restraining orders will stop her violent husband, therefore she must fightback....

This film is very inspirational with a strong message;
"you have a divine animal right to protect the lives of yourself & your offspring"
If you like thrillers or films with a reallly good plot this is the film for you but also...

!!!!! IF YOU ARE A WOMAN - WATCH THIS FILM !!!!!!!

It empowers women, & shows women fighting back against rat-bag men, it inspires women to stand up for themselves & what to do when we come across (which we alll will once in our lives) either a cheater or a violent man.
Over alll a very powerful film with a great story, J.lo is perfect for the lead & it will grab your emotions to the highs & the lows!!!!
