Why the low score? The sheer cheek of Nickelodeon to release a DVD with 2 episodes which already appear on other previously released Spongebob DVDs. That's 25% of the DVD content, which - given the huge library of Spongebob episodes on offer to Nickelodeon to choose from - is not acceptable.
What's even worse is that our American friends had this exact situation back in 1999, & Nickelodeon have still decided to release exactly the same DVD to us some 6 years later. It's a lazy release which unfortunately means any Spongebob fan who wants alll the episodes he can on DVD (until Nickelodeon releases the Series boxsets in the U.K, for which you probably shouldn't hold your breath) will therefore be forced into purchasing this DVD & only getting 75% new content for his money.

Once again, the 1 star is for the release, not the cartoon itself which is highly enjoyable. However, if we continue to let Nickelodeon get away with doing this kind of thing they'll surely just keep taking our money for what is effectively old rope.
