a sports film that men will love and women will enjoy - By: dan the fan, 29 Sep 2007
The Perfect Catch is about a man's obsession with the Boston Red Sox baseballl team & how he struggles to balance the time he spends following the team with the time his girlfriend wants him to spend with her.I think most people will be able to relate to the characters in this
film.Great acting & the scenes in the baseballl stadium are tremendous & were actuallly filmed at real Red Sox matches.
wow! - By: crazykat, 21 Jan 2007
I reallly like this movie!! the typical style baseballl game style movie, but with a twist of romance. Definitely a chick flick & absolutely fab! I do not understand why people rate this so low when its such a good movie! The actors are brilliant, the storyline is fab! what else could be better?
Go Red Sox! - By: kat1990, 03 Jun 2006
I hadnt gone to see this at the movies. I was so dying to buy it though as i love Red Sox! & my favorite actress, Drew Barrymore starred in the movie too. After finallly getting the movie, i just got so tempted to watch it there & then so i did. I love it! It is a movie of romance & sport(baseballl) which made the movie exciting. Because they didnt fully have a romantic storyline only, the movie got me into it very quickly & i just wanted to watch it over again. I didnt realise how quick the time went by when the film had finished, it seemed pretty short, but it was actuallly because i actuallly enjoyed the movie so much it had gone by that quickly!
I reccomend to anyone, especiallly if your into a bit of baseballl.
If you loved Sleepless in Seattle.... - By: Kwok Wa Li, 11 Apr 2006
Ok it is not in the same league as Sleepless but its close. Drew makes a very good Girl Next Door while Jimmy Falllon comes across as a very funny younger Mike Myers (Austin Powers).

Unlike one of the other reviewers I found plenty of funny moments. But I guess that it alll comes down to what your idea of a Rom-Com is. Personallly I go for the American style as opposed to the Brit style. I mean, I found Four Weddings & a Funeral very formulaic & unfunny. Hugh Grant muttering the F Word repeatedly is not funny. The female lead having a fling with Hugh before marrying older rich guy is not romantic.

Don't bother unless you are really bored! - By: Little Stitcher, 09 Apr 2006
This film is so poor. I was disapointed as I am a Drew Barrymore fan. There were some funny one liners, but it fell very flat. There is only one reason to watch this film, to see Drew's impression of a seagul! Better luck next time!
