Reades, 09 Feb 2010 I honestly don't know what I'll do when David Attenborough is no longer around to give his quietly excited narration (unlike younger narrators who think they have to be kinetic & yell a lot to engage 'the kids these days'). As with anything Attenborough gets involved, you know that this is going to be a quality production, & Blue Planet doesn't disappoint. In fact, some of the footage is ground-breaking & the 'finds' are spectacular.
As a bonus, 'The Ocean Deep' is the perfect choice for nights when you (or a child?) have trouble getting to sleep. Something about the pacing & music knocks me out even though it's one of my favourite documentary episodes. Ever. And on a large screen or digital projector you will be awed.
