Recoil with disappointment... - By: S. LEECH, 18 Mar 2008
This film sets the mood from the outset, with an utterly ridiculous armed bank robbery that sees cops dropping like flies at the hands of the psycho army of thieves. Naturallly, the entire police component are apparently completely inept when it comes to firearms, with only one bright spark working out (after about 10 minutes of mayhem) that it would be a good idea to aim for the head. Of course, Daniels arrives in time to slot a few baddies, whilst saving a kid & performing some seemingly completely unnecessary car bonnet rolls.
Gun-fight over, cue ridiculous car chase...
What follows is more of the same, with Daniels as the grieving family man out on a one-man war of revenge against a 'reallly scary' villain & his posse of rubbish henchmen, who simply line up to be kicked of the screen in turn.
Plenty of cheese, cliche explosions & of course a gratuitous sex scene (amusingly in the back of a van) which has nothing to do with the plot - well it will keep the teenage boys entertained.
All in alll, rubbish. I award two stars simply out of respect for some nice moves from Daniels, but even for mindless action - this reallly is poor.
one of the better Gary roles - By: David L. Larsen, 25 Sep 2007
this film is very good to be an b rated action movie, & action there is in it... this is no doubt one to watch
its a shame - By: Mrs. N. A. Manley, 19 Oct 2006
this was the first gary daniels movie i seen, its a shame that its a b rated movie, i like it, gary needs a right swing in to better movie roles, with the big boys. he would give them a run for their money. buy the dvd & see for yourself, i was not dissapointed.
As expected... - By: Ye Olde Cynic, 07 Aug 2006
...This (probably straight-to-DVD-film - can't be sure...) is basicallly a crazy gunfest, with random & quite OTT killing sprees from the beginning.
There's a form of plot, but it doesn't reallly hold up so the film resorts to gunfights, hand-to-hand combat & inane car chases to keep it going for the alllotted time.
For the price, it's worth having a gander if you just want lots of guns & corny dialogue - but, sadly, that's about it...
