i loved this film growing & its extra special as you hardly ever see it on tv any more, it's good fun & great pace...though i wonder how ill perceive it watching it nowadays. for as little as 3 pounds its got to be worth it

How anyone can give this film 5 stars is beyond me.

I won't bother with an intricate critical analysis of the film, suffice to say that, apart from a couple of vaguely amusing scenes, Nuns On The Run is utter tripe from start to finish.

Do not even attempt to watch this on the telly because you will never get that completely wasted hour & a half back.

Eric Idle (of Monty Python fame) is excellent in the role of the lovable crook. The scenes in the nunnery are some of the most hilarious I've ever seen in a movie. I can only recommend it. Just a pity that there were no bonuses on this DVD.
