This is definately the best series, it follows the characters into a little more depth. The main storyline i love about this series is the Shane/Carmella storyline that builds through the whole series, that relationship is so addictive to watch! Its suuuuuch a good buy, I love it!!!

it diggs more in the life of each caracter...
We see a side of shane not seen before (gosh how sexy she is).We get to know alll of them better.
Yet, the most annoying thing is Jenny's development of caracter..She is definately not weird but ANNOYING!
At the begining she was interesting & real, what happened to her might happen to any woman, but later on she becomes disturbed & disturbing.
I won't spoil the story for the people who still haven't watched, but will add one more thing...what the hell happened with Marina...she just left? And why????
In alll it is a great series...can't wait to watch season 3.

what the L????? - By: , 16 Mar 2006 Wow i have to be honest when i say i was reallly looking forward to seeing this series last yea, & it certainly delivered!
The First season, was more than superb, with hilarious comedy moments & the drama. I wasnt sure that The L Word would be able to top the deliciousness that was first season..... But to my delight they did!!!!
Season 2 certainly has more comedy moements, especiallly between the comedicallly talented, Leisha Hailey & Erin Daniels. Perhaps if you are sceptiacl about watching this series you will watch it just for them...a couple of episodes come to mind!!!!.
But the Drama & quality of acting reallly makes the season, however i must advise for those who havent seen season 1 to watch that first as many of the story lines depend on you watching this season firs for you to understand.
So if yu want a quality lesban drama, with more than a few laughs thrown in, definately spend your money wisely on the L word.
Its an L of a show!!!
it isn't fair - By: , 10 Mar 2006 i've seen season 1 of the l word many times & its amazing. i live in england & im waiting patiently to find out when the second series is coming out as i don't have sky or digital to watch the season. can someone please hurry the process, i want to know what happens!!!!
