Have to agree with previous reviewers that Joan Hickson is the definitive Miss Marple, much like Jeremy Brett with Holmes, Joan Hickson has proved a difficult act to follow & indeed has not been bettered. Twelve 2 hour discs of bliss.............go on treat yourself

Had these brought for me as a wonderful Christmas present. The edditing is very little & hardly noticeable. I have alll of them on Video (which are now starting to get blurry) & any changes are hardley noticeable - each show went lasts almost the same as the episodes on video. Even with these edits they are much better than the mauling of the stroies by ITV.

Plots in each episode are excellent as are the settings & costumes. Get a brew, chocolate biscuits, put your feet up & enjoy.
