This is about a religious community who practise polygamy.The males in the community can have many wives.The main character is a young girl who is to be forced into marriage against her will to an older man & her conflict of loving her family but wanting a life free of the restrictions & rules within the community. It is a good story & keeps the interest going throughout. Will she get out ? This is an early film of Helen Hunt & she has one or two good scenes but i would have liked to see more of her. She is a plus in any film !
