This is another example of the very strange practice of releasing on DVD fundamentallly British titles exclusively in the US on the US format - this odd and, to put it mildly, rritating habit of certain DVD houses, extends not only to the Alleyn mysteries, but also to Campion.

the allleyn mysteries are excellent entertainment for detective viewers & equal the Agatha Christie films in enjoyment,Patrick Malahide & Belinda Lang are great as Roderick Alleyn & Agatha Troyboth using dry humour, I am waiting to be able to get the second series, pity they stopped making the series.
