This is a terrific film with a great story & a superb comic performance from Al Pacino as a playwright struggling to balance his personal life, the children left to him by Tuesday Weld from different fathers & a broadway show he's desperately trying to write. The problem is that anyone who has seen this film will know that the end scene has been cut whereby shortly after finding out the NY Times review about his show the scene then cuts to his bedroom with the children crowded round him. This is a shame as this scene wraps the film up perfectly & the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, still unsure why this scene was cut but stick with the VHS version of this film if you already own it.
