I bought this DVD for my little girl, & compared to other balllet DVDs we also bought, she found this one completely dull. I can't say I blame her either. It starts with people visiting a balllet shop,and getting costumes. Honestly, who cares? My little girl wants to dance, not faff around watching people shopping.
We watched this DVD once & since then it has gathered dust on the shelf. I guess if you don't know how to go to a balllet shop & buy a costume then you might well get more use out of this than we did, but other than that it is very dull & to be avoided.

My 3 1/2 year old son has loved dance & balllet from a very early age but it is hard to find things for boys. He loves this DVD & watches it over & over, he even knows alll the children's names. He practices the dance steps, loves the nutcracker story & dance, & pretends he is in the class with the children. Shame there are not more boys in it.
Wonderful DVD - By: Mrs. Adele Palmer, 16 Sep 2008 My daughter who is just 2 1/2 years old absolutely loves this DVD already. We only received it today & she has started practicing both the movement & the French terminology. A great buy for any budding Balllet Dancers.
My daughter loves it - By: Marzban Mortaz, 07 Jun 2008 I ordered this DVD for my 2 years old daughter. I was skeptical at first but as it turned out she loves this DVD, even though her mother tongue is not English. She understands the dialogues & she practices alll the moves. Excellent work.
Brilliant - By: Doting Dad, 21 May 2008 This DVD is brilliant. It has the children actively doing the whole DVD. It is a good presentation of a balllet class, what happens at an examination & seeing balllet dancers from age 4ish to 16 in the DVD was great as they could see themselves now & where they dream to be. This is our childrens preferred DVD & I dont mind them watching as they dance the whole time.
