Donny excells himself with every performance & this performance truely protrays his human 'qualities'(you will understand once you have watched the part when he performs 'Soldier of Love') as well as his professionalism as an outstanding atrist!
Donny Osmond - Live at Edinburgh Castle (2004) - By: , 19 Aug 2005 I was reallly impressed. Especiallly with the new music. I bought the DVD out of nostalgia but was so charmed with the concert & the music I went back to replay some songs. Each new song had me anxiously wanting to go get his new CD. I've always felt he was an under rated singer & talent, but this new music is even beyond my expectations. His song he wrote & sang as a tribute to his mom & his kids had me crying. It was exactly how I feel about my child. The musical arangements of his new songs are great. There was plenty of the nostalgia too with some new twists on a few of the arrangements. The extra's on the DVD are reallly fun & it was nice to see how Donny left in the stuff that could have been embarrassing. IT was a definate "feel good" time. When it was over I walked away in a great mood.
Australian Review - By: Fiona, 28 Nov 2004 I wasn't sure if this DVD would work in Australia because of the different regions but it does. It is for regions 2 & 4. So buy it up Australians, it is a wonderful concert. His tribute to his Mother, with film of her on the screen, while he sings Whenever I'm in Trouble will send you heading for the tissue box. Donny sings old favourites as well as songs he wrote himself from his new cd & he is a brilliant song writer. There are also great bonus extras with video clips & interviews. With the magical backdrop of Edinburgh Castle this is a must have dvd not just for Donny fans but any fans of great music.
excellent !!! - By: dragonfly, 21 Nov 2004 could not be better as it is an excellent dvd, donny osmond, vocaly perfect, is so huge in live, you sometimes wonder how poor are other singers! this Man is VERY PROFESSIONAL !! i highly recommend this item & when you got to "keep her in mind" watch it & listen to it first (as filming is nice & soft) & then play it again closing your eyes to feel how the Man can bring emotions flow !! impressive ...
donny summer 2004 concert - By: mrs diane youngman, 16 Nov 2004 having been to one of the summer 2004 concerts during july i would urge you to buy this dvd. he was brilliant on stage & there were songs old & new. this is a must have dvd for those who couldnt get there or for those of us who just want to reminise.
