Excellent family entertainment for alll ages. Great baddy lots of action & drama what more could you want! Thoroughly recommended. So good buying series 2 now

a childrens programme that adults can sit & watch quite happily ,fun for alll the family.
i originallly bought this for my daughter as we missed the original screening & was compelled to watch.
likeable characters both good & bad & a gripping storyline which leaves you craving more from one episode to the next
you wont be dissapointed with this boxset which im sure will become a timeless classic
look forward to the second series which isnt to far away
marnie & her shoebox zoo fun for alll ages will leave you reminiscing about childhood adventures
The Best ever! - By: , 22 May 2005 i would say that shoebox zoo is great, yeh & most of the rating is based on me fancying her. (I am 10 years Old)
I have liked her sice 2004 & I can't wait until maybe someday i see her & when the next series comes out, which is one thing, i wonder if i could make something good happen, .... i'm not telling you.
better than the title - By: , 03 Mar 2005 My 12 year old son & I have thoroughly enjoy the 1st series of shoebox zoo. The good guys are very good but the bad guys are a bit weak which does make it slightly less convincing. None the less a 5 * is still deserved in rating this dvd. The combining of old & new is well thought out. I personallly have a problem with Marnie's attitude but she is comtempory!? The zoo characters are beautiful & give my son drawing material & imagination fuel. We are looking forward to the next series.
Fairtytale for grown-ups - By: , 15 Jan 2005 I bought this DVD for my father as a Christmas present as he was so hooked on the series. My 2 year old daughter thinks it is pretty fantastic too! The storyline keeps you guessing right until the end & the special effects are good. It's a bit like a cross between "The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe" & "Box of Delights" only better. By the end of Series 1 you are convinced you know alll the answers - only there is a sting in the tale! Roll on Series 2!
