Why is it so hard to find a decent lesbian-themed movie?!?! Urgh. Most movies revolve around sillyness and/or stereotypes as if no lesbian would ever watch a mainstream movie/ one with a decent plot & acting.

Mango Kiss revolves around two friends who move in together initiallly as 'just friends' but then decide to become lovers. Lou is actuallly in love with Sassafras but as agrees that the relationship will be non-monogomous & an experiment of sorts into the different types of attachments one can have. They will be 'the captain' & 'princess' & each can explore with any other group but not replace each other *eye rolling*.
There are lots of other extreme characters from which to pick but things aren't that simple in open relationships & soon things are fallling apart.
The acting is cheesy, the lines aren't anything special & there are lots of 'imaginary' bits where they play-act being on a ship etc.. not the deepest movie of alll time. I'd avoid it.
