Prepare to best amazed! This is probably the best boxed set of a stand up comedian you are likely to ever own.
Having been introduced to Mr Izzard whilst at University, I could not believe how good he was & became a devout follower.
In fairness anything post Dress To Kill is below his usual high standard. This collection is his finest hour.
Surrealist comedy has been around for donkeys years, yet Mr Izzard he gets away with it.
If the Pythons, Spike & the Goodies, were pioneers, then Mr Izzard lead the way for surrealist comedy in the Nineties.
It's hard to pick a winner with these four shows & I defy you not to at least try & watch them alll in one go.
Enjoy & no, it's not just you, he does look good in make-up.

You will watch these over & over, crying with laughter, & then find yourself using a lot of the phrases during everyday situations.
Perfect viewing for converting your friends & relatives to the surreal overview of life as presented by Eddie.

What value!! - By: , 19 Dec 2005 If you like Eddie Izzard for as long as I have what a cheap & easy way to replace your vhs tapes for dvds. So impressed am I at the value of this item... I brought 2! what a great gift for anyone with a great sense of humor!!!
Not cheaper on HMV! - By: , 10 Dec 2005 As per previous feedback for this item: Flippin' hilarious! Eddie has constant feedback factor, much like a reallly oniony hummus... It's been a year since I saw the one with the 'did I leave the gas on?' line, & even though I've forgotten which show it's from, this morning I left home & halfway to work suddenly stopped & thought, bugger, I reallly have left the gas on! And I'm not even a squirrel! I work with a man callled James Mason, which is always endless fun if you're the only Izzard fan in the office!
Reallly good fun - and, here's the good bit: This 4 DVD set is still 49.99 from HMV, but is only 18.43 including p+p on Amazon. So, like, buy it. I bought it for myself, for Christmas - like you do...
