Garner Shines - By: VH-Fake-Shemp, 07 Nov 2008
It was a pleasure to see Jennifer Garner go from Agent Bristow on Alias to this, it was a great change & a move. She clearly had a blast making this movie & I have a blast (with a young sister) watching this movie (though it resides in my collection) ;)
For £3 you cannot go wrong. That's less than half of cinema prices & is worth that to watch the dance sequence alone... as well as how fabulous Andy Serkis is.
As for the special features, the 'I was a teenage geek' is nice to watch & see some HI-larious pictures of the cast as teenagers & with 2 commentary's, there's enough covered for the 13 going on 30 fantastic

Try to park up 99% of your brain cells before watching this.
It is a great insult to our modern society that this type of film is rated as "entertainment".
Isn't it about time films got an IQ rating? This would feature in the "under 50". I beg the film industry to do something that avoids me renting this type of rubbish ever again.
Really good comedy/chick flick! - By: Lisa M. Wooldridge, 08 Jul 2007
This is a reallly good film about a girl who wishes she was "thirty, flirty & thriving" then one day she wakes & she is "thirty, flirty & thriving". But she wants to go back to being 13 after her dreams come true but they do not turn out as she expected.
Another good thing about this film is if you pause it you can learn the dance moves to Michael Jackson's "Thriller".
Funny 80s film - By: M. C. Batson, 03 Feb 2007
If you like comedy & the 80s with it's music & fashion then you will love it.
13 going on 30 is very funny & enjoyable & filled with references to the 80s as well as songs from the 80s throughout the film.
This film made me laugh & I enjoyed it as well as the music throughout & now I have it on DVD I can watch it when I want.
