Spiral focuses on the tale of a teen named Ayumu Narumi & his quest to unravel the mystery of the Blade Children. Why exactly did his brother go after them? Why are there people trying to eliminate them? What do they want with Ayumu?
Here begins a stylish & addictive anime which sees us following Ayumu & his new 'assisstant' Hiyono as they become tangled in the twisted games that the Blade Children play.
There's no airy-fairy introduction - the anime is hard-hitting & compulsive viewing. From the very first few seconds you will find yourself gripped by the intriguing plot twists & the KILLER suspense.
The characters alll have fantastic personalities - even the obligatory cute-but-annoying ones aren't...annoying. The lead, Ayumu, is instantly interesting & the Blade Children perhaps more so.
The animation is fluid & precise, the humour actuallly funny, & trust me, the theme song will eventuallly grow on you.
