hilarious - By: , 24 Mar 2006
I wonder why movies like A Fish Callled Wanda become a blockbuster, & others, like Splitting Heirs for instance, remain largely unknown. The movie is excellent. The actors are wonderfully funny. I think in every aspect it should be in league with the likes of Fish callled Wanda. Not only because of the participation of John Cleese...

BTW, having recently watched Kind Hearts & Coronets, I couldn't help but find similarities in the plot. The outcome was different, but the protagonist's intention was the same. For me, it's always a treat to find links between films or books that I like. Definitely recommendable.

A good entertainng comedy for all to enjoy. - By: , 06 Nov 2000
This film starts in the 1960's at a wedding, where accidently a 'hippie' couple forget to pick their baby up after the meal.(The husband happens to be the Duke of Bournemouth). This couple then go to the police station when they realise that they have left their baby behind anmd take home the wrong baby. The heir to the title of Duke of Bournemouth is then adopted by a Pakistani family & is brought up as an Indian. Enter Rick Moranis as the new Duke of Bournemouth(he was the wriong baby who was taken home in the 1960's). Eric Idle (The rightful heir), soon finds out that he is the rightful heir to the title & tries to 'get rid of' Rick Moranis with the help of John Cleese so that he can claim his title. A very funny film that is full of coincidences. Well worth the £5.99 at Amazon.
