Good Movie, but why 11 minutes of fighting scenes towards the end of the movie is not there?? - By: Lai Kwok Leong, 24 Sep 2006 I love the movie Green Snake & has collected alll their different version. What came to me a relief was that UK has released a version with better picture & audio & of course more features than the HK version. But I am utterly disappointed in the UK version of Green Snake. The last scenes of White Snake (played by Joey Wong) going to golden temple to rescue her husband & how Green Snake (played by Maggie Cheung) challlenged White Snake & the monk was completed taken off from the movie. There was a sudden jump scene (starts where Xu Sian went to look for Green Snake, Maggie & then the next scene was the White & Green snake leap into the water). Uhm wheres the starting part when White & Green Snake was challlenging & fighting the monk, aka Fa Hai. Poor me, I bought 2 copies, after discovered 1st was like that & i tot i was unlucky. So i bought the second piece & apparently, my friends who got it curse & swear as alll are the same. Its manufacturer fault. Oh god, if the UK or US wana release chinese movies, pl do it with care & be cautious, as there are a lot of movies collectors & movies lovers out there who are able to detect flaws. Pl bear that in mind as it is very irritating to see a favorite movies of urs totallly & utterly produced in a wrong way, just like above!!!!!! An alll time great movie, totallly ruined by poor quality check on the dvd itself. what are alll the QC doing? Don't they know, after so long the dvd is in the market selling? or doesn't anyone know at alll, its so obvious!!!!!!
