Second time i've had my order for this item cancelled, will not be ordering from amazon again

Lee, 09 Apr 2008 Very unhappy.Ordered at reduced price of just over £36 on the 9th of april as it was currently unavailable-at this price I was prepared to wait. However, a couple of days after ordering I noticed the price had gone up to £65 to other buyers,even though the item was still unavailable. Now today, I received an email saying my order had been cancelled & I was being refunded due to the fact they can't obtain the item.Yet it is still for sale on the site. A complete farce to be honest,selling items they don't have.

Although I've read some negative responses on here about the box set DvD taking ages to be dispatched, I feel I must put a positive view on as well.
I ordered my copy at the reduced price of £35 & received it via free delivery within a week so perhaps there had been a hiccup with whoever was supplying it to Amazon in earlier weeks?
Anyway, I was happy with the service & the DvD box set is absolutely superb & I'm glad I grabbed the opportunity of getting it ridiculously cheap.

I bought this earlier this year when it was under £30 & it was worth every penny.
It is a shame the packaging is pretty awful. I like spine pictures on packaging & as you can see from the customer photo (that is my photo & was uploaded by someone else!!), it doesn't align up at alll.
If anyone is wondering why James Earl James in the specs. He did voiceover for two episodes & I suppose his status gets him more credit over anyone else. It is strange that no other actors are listed though.
the perfect sitcom - By: MishaMac, 30 Oct 2007 At last I have tracked down 3rd Rock on dvd . It has always been one of my favourites - second only to the holy grail that is Scrubs . Be warned, 3rd Rock is off-beat,chaotic,often politicallly incorrect ,and superbly acted .Dick the self centred,spoilt-as-a-4yrold commander, Sallly the male lieutenant stuck ever so stroppily in a woman's body (as Dick says "because you lost" ), the older-than-everyone Intelligence specialist Tommy having to go through the hell of puberty , & the token sweet-natured space cadet Harry . Tom , Dick ,Harry & Sallly - get it ?
Having a whole 'family' of aliens rather than one alone gave the writers scope for alll manner of funny scenes when they are at home - even their first sneeze is funny . When they learn to lie , Sallly is worried that this lying thing could falll into the hands of politicians ...
Buy this & you will be laughing out loud !
